F1 2012 starts soon so how will you watch it?

The F1 season gets off to a start soon and if you’re not at home when it’s on here are a few ways to get involved. Sky Go launched for Android today if only for a few devices but hopefully that will change. With the BBC and Sky both serving up races the Sky Go app will be useful for customers so long as they have one of the listed devices to watch it on.

The BBC iPlayer app, apart from offering a range of their TV channels will come in handy too so long as you have a Wi-Fi connection as 3G is at the moment disabled. If you can get hold of it there is a hacked version of the app which will allow 3G viewing but you’ll need an unlimited data plan for that.

Although as it stands there is no TVCatchup.com Android app available you can use your phones or tablets browser to stream in live TV. TVCatchup.com hold a slight advantage over the Sky and BBC apps by offering you a host of channels including Film 4. An app is on the way and they have quoted days and not weeks until the release.

Keeping up with the points and everything else an app from Soft Pauer, F1™ 2012 Timing App – Premium looks very impressive although it does have a £19.99 price tag.

F1 is big business and gets a huge following all over the World and as such there are other ways to enjoy it. If you want to get involved with a Fantasy League which I might have a go at this year too. You can pick your team by visiting their website here.

Via Sky on a 42″ plasma in HD with Dolby surround sound. Sod mobile devices for F1! Sky Go doesn’t like my Desire S ICS ROM. Booooo!
