Skype for us Android users has been updated today and it’s a pretty nice one at that. It  brings a new look and feel. There are also a few bug fixes too that should make the experience that little bit better. Full release notes are:

2. Calling interface updated
3. Improved quality
4. Enabled video calling for Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Number 4 on that list applies to US users but after giving it a quick try I have to say it looks a great deal better. As for bug fixes Skype have put together a little table showing you what problems people had had. It’s a pretty big update so those of you not on Three may want to put your Wi-Fi on. Get the update from the Android Market now.  Don’t forget that it is a great way to call 0800 numbers from your phone too.
