Look at your bills with bill monitor
With lots of you on the wrong contracts there may just be a way for you to look at your bills, have your usage analysed and get on the right contract. Many of us are over estimating how many minutes, texts and data we will use per month, thus giving away £5b in wasted payments. Many commit to four times more than what they need to avoid ‘bill shock’ whilst some even commit to a lower tariff so they can try to keep in control of their spending.
We all know the routine when getting a new contract, the consultants over the phone or in the shop will ask how many of these and how many of those we think we will use and the most common reaction is to say either what friends have or a wild stab in the dark. A way to look at how you are using your phone has been developed by an Oxford based business and the first comparison site to be approved by OFCOM will look at how you have used your minutes, texts and data to decide what tariff you should be on and will also give an average over the past three months.
You can choose to stick with your current network, if you want a new handset and if so which one or a sim only deal. I’ve just had a go with bill monitor and they have looked at my usage and told me that i could save myself £15.83 per month by dropping to a lower tariff. I wasn’t that shocked though, my plan has 600 minutes and over the past few months I haven’t used anything over 300 of them.
With many of us feeling the pinch at the moment this could be a great way for you to save some cash on those mobile deals. Try out bill monitor now if you haven’t already by heading over to their website here.
