Orange price increases on the way
Households are being stretched to their limits at the moment and fears over the economy aren’t making things any better. Orange are adding to those worries with a slight increase to their PAYM tariffs and are increasing the cost of their price plans by 4.34% as of January the 8th 2012.
Although the price increase isn’t much , if you’re current price plan is £35 it will go up to £36.50 I’m sure it’s a very much unwelcome addition to your monthly outgoings. The blame is being put at the front door of inflation which is at a 20 year high. There are bound to be lots of people looking at this as a way of getting out of their contracts but if I’m right the increase does not go above the consumer price index so unfortunately there is no get out clause.
You can see how much your price plan will go up by heading over to this webpage that has a very handy calculator to work it out for you. This should also mean that the other networks do the same too.
