When Virgin get in the business of doing something they usually do a good job of it and their Virgin Trains Android app is no different. The app lets you search for train times, book your tickets and show them via your phone  on selected routes. I have  used the app and it works very well.

The  update has brought a few improvements and they are:

1.  An upgraded user-interface.
2.  You can now log into the app using your Virgin Trains online account. After logging in, all future ticket purchases made with the app will be linked to your online account and can be viewed on the main Virgin Trains website.
3.  Don’t have a Virgin Trains online account? You can now sign up for an account in the app!
4. Support for all screen-sizes & keyboards.
5.  Support for Android versions 1.6 & above.
6.  Powerful platform for future upgrades and improvements.
