Our friends over in the Republic of Ireland and anyone else who use Aer Lingus can now download the app from Telefonica Ireland. From inside the app you can search for fares, check your flight status and get details on your flight. Other features include:

The app looks and feels good but the biggest downfall is that when you get to the booking stage you are taken to the mobile version of Aer Lingus with a link to download the app again from the Android Market.

It doesn’t work as good as other Airline apps such as American Airlines and the like but with a an update they could make it just as good. That aside you can download it from the Android Market here or the QR code below. It’s free and requires Android 2.0 or newer.
